Eggplant Raita Recipe
Ingredients:
1. Egg Plant: 250 gms
2. Curd: 100 gms
3. Chat Masala: 1 teaspoon
4. Garlic: 3 cloves
5. Green Chilli: 4
6. Roasted Cumin Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
7. Black Salt: as per taste
8. Coriander Leaves (optional)
Raita Recipe
Method
Step 1:
Start off this raita recipe by taking a flat pan and roasting the egg plant, garlic and green chilli.
You can even roast these ingredients on open fire on medium flame.
Step 2:
Take the roasted egg plant and place it on a plate to cool it off.
Now, crush the roasted garlic and green chilli with the help of okhali (mortar and pestle).
Step 3:
Once the egg plant is cooled off, peel its burnt skin off and mash the egg plant in a bowl.
Add the crushed garlic and green chilli in the egg plant. Mix it well.
Step 4:
Now pour the curd on the egg plant and mix everything thoroughly.
Finally, sprinkle the chat masala, black salt and roasted cumin powder mixing everything well.
Garnish the raita recipe with fresh coriander leaves.
Your raita recipe is now ready to be served. Enjoy this tasty side dish with pulao, biryani or even your daily rice and dal.
