This chicken sausage recipe is perfect when you don't want to get into the toil of normal dal and veggies on the side.
Sausages again is quite a versatile ingredient, with a lot of room for experimentation.
Perfectly suited for a snack and even dinner, it is a great ingredient to have in the kitchen.
This chicken sausage curry is super fun and can be prepared under 20 minutes.
The curry is made from simple ingredients however giving a unique flavor that goes perfectly with our favorite white rice.

Chicken Sausage Curry
Ingredients:
1. Chicken Sausage: 500 gm
2. Oil
3. Onions: 2, big sized, sliced
4. Tomatoes:100 gm, puree or chopped
5. Ginger and Garlic Paste: 1 tablespoon
6. Turmeric Powder: as per taste
7. Chilli Powder: as per taste
8. Cumin Seeds: 1 teaspoon
10.Green Chilli: 3
11. Salt: as per taste
12. Coriander Leaves
Method:
Step 1:
Start off the chicken sausage curry by boiling the sausages first.
Boil it for only 2 minutes.
Cut the sausages according to your preference.
Step 2:
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the already cut sausages.
After the sausages are fried transfer them into a bowl.
Step 3:
Check the oil in the pan. If it is not enough, add 2 tablespoon of oil to cook the curry this time.
Add the cumin seeds. Once it starts to crackle, add in the sliced onions and fry it for 2 minutes.
Step 4:
Now, once the onions turn light brown, add in the ginger and garlic paste.
After 30 seconds, add in the turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
Mix it for 30 seconds.
Then, add in the tomato puree or chopped tomatoes and mix/cook everything for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 5:
Add some water into the pan according to the consistency of the gravy and boil it for 2 minutes.
Make sure your gravy is thick.
Now, add in the sausages and cook it for a minute with the lid closed.
Your chicken sausage curry is now ready to be served.
Try this curry with steamed white rice and coriander chutney on the side.
Transfer the curry into a bowl and garnish with some coriander leaves and green chillies.
Bonus Tips:
1. You can even add green peas into the recipe to enhance the flavor.
